Ledger - its nice to see such a beautiful book about raw foods and living. There are so few, and so important. the high cost of health care would be 90% less if people follow what is written here.

Well worth the read. Thank you for writing it!

I also picked this out along Print Raw Food Classic, which is also worth adding to your book shelf:

Raw Food and Health: The Raw Food Classic by the founder of Raw Food MovementRating: 5 / 5

I read about 20 pounds of food for thought now. This is absolutely the best coverage in the summary. It is concise, easy to read and full of important information. I'm not a big fan of the title confusion, but otherwise can not register a single complaint. This is an important resource in any library materials or Foodista health conscious person.Rating: 5 / 5

Americans spend more than $ 2000000000 a year in health care. We hope one day soon, more people will turn to diet and lifestyle to support, rather than drugs and operations.

Emmalea and Ruthann Russo have written a carefully researched, well-balanced book to educate people to make a gradual transition to more raw foods.

These are concepts that have helped heal Emmalea and hopefully reach a wider audience to help people live healthy and happy.Rating: 5 / 5

I started just to get into the lifestyle of raw food, but if I had to write a book on raw foods, my style would be similar to the authors. She has thoroughly studied all that raw foods and all information presented in a non-judgmental. As I research, I am bombarded with conflicting views - Fruit / Fruit low fat / low fat, and he continues, by the leaders of all raw foods. This book made me realize that there are different opinions, but she described as "healthy conflict".

I found it extremely useful to know all about leadership raw food, philosophy, joint discussions and more resources. Do not expect to find recipes, although it does not point tons of good books to help you!

; The title "The Raw Food Diet Myth" was confusing for me though (why call it myth?), and I have not bought my book on Amazon. I ended up sifting through the pages to shop Whole Foods and thought it was the perfect book for me to know the whole raw food philoshopy. And this book does not fail to deliver.

Now, looking for all the additional resources she recommended!Rating: 5 / 5

This author has not lost a single page of his book with information uselss. If you are interested in ntrition, healthy eating, and playing with the idea of eating raw, this book is for you. The information is not overwhelming, and the author does not seem like a fanatic, but rather inform the reader of the benefits of diet and motivates you to try at least to this intriguing way of eating. This is probably the only book to the beginner really started to become a first Foodista. There are a ton of resources in the book that makes this must have for enthuiast raw foods and for the beginner. I read the whole book in one weekend, and I bought one of the books recommended and loved it too. The Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose is a book that will actually help you through the steps and process integration as raw food lifestyle eating. I did not like the titles of books, but the content is incredible! Another must-have if the book The Complete Book of Raw Food. With these 3 books, you're set for years as a raw foodie!Rating: 5 / 5

They're a fruit but not a sweet fruit. Whenever I refer to sweet fruit (or fruit in general) I'm talking about apples, oranges bananas, mangoes etc.

Peppers, avocados and cucumbers don't count since they have suc a low sugar content.

Hi, i am currently trying to get a good source of omega 3 on a budget so i was going to go for flax seeds then i found out that they contain 3 times as many phytoestrogens as soy which is around 350000 micrograms(flax), i then looked at other foods and found that all beans and seeds have high phtyo estrogen content around the 600 (+/-) 300 microgram mark, i want to try the hippocrates diet but i also would like to include some natural way to block these estrogens, do you take anything for this?

@joeys123321 and to continue in terms of longevity maintaining a healthy level of hormones is vital, there are so many xeno estrogens in our enviroment that the baby boomer generation is reaching andropause 10 years earlier then there fathers, and the children now are expected to do the same 10 years earlier then them. On the upside the hippocrates diet has was it 2? green drinks a day and green leaves like spinach do have testosterone boosting chemicals.
