    I lack the patience …
I lack the patience for a dehydrator. Who has the time to sit around for 12 hours and check their food every 3 hours? Not me, that’s for sure.

i have a dehydator and its really inconvinent. It needs to run for at least 6 hours to dry anything…its a shame that nearly all commercially dried fruits have preservatives in them

This is idiotic. She doesn’t tell us what she’s spreading. Apple pieces and what? How does this help anyone? The most useful thing she says is to turn the shelf around. Yet she looks so pleased with herself at the end….

I’ve seen a few of these videos and don’t understand them; it seems you are getting part of the story, but not full instruction (in one she gave an intro & ingredients for ‘raw’ yogurt but it cut off before she started making it (!). I hope the poster takes more care next time, as there is probably useful info here.

    8-12 hours in an …
8-12 hours in an electric dehydrator is a lot of energy to use for one bowl of cereal. Seems costly and wasteful in regards to energy use. Wouldn’t an oven do the same thing only faster? Or maybe sun drying for those with more time?

If I where to make …
If I where to make all this foods that are similar to coocked foods, I could just make food all day:-D I thinks it’s funny, but I don’t really have the patience.

    seinfeldelainekramer:
No, not at all. You do not need dehydraters of juicers, but it is very nice with a blender when you live a “normal” life. I eat 3 smoothies a day, some/alot fruit and 2 salads.
You can try to stay away from any electrical tools, but the thing is that we do not have all day to eat, therefore a blender is GREAT:)

    I am very …
I am very interested in the raw vegan lifestyle but question the dehydrating of foods and also juicing. In nature there are no juicers and dehydraters so are these tools necessary for good health?

We have got to come …
We have got to come up with a better and faster way for dehydrating stuff.

I don’t do that anyway, I go for the quick and easier stuff that is easy to prepare and nutritious.

So to make breakfast you give yourself a mountain of dishes spend hours over making it..and use up excessive amounts of the worlds resources in electricity.. yeah..I can see the sense in that!!!!

All I can say is… please write more. OMG, it seems as though I watched a video instead of reading an article…it’s so apparent. You really know what you’re writing about. My thought was, why waste your intelligence on blog posting when you could be publishing books? Think about it. You’re awesome at what you do. WORD!
