salmiana (not the Blue Agave) that grows in the high desert regions of central Mexico. agave nectar has a low glycemic index of 32. Compare to 58 to 64 for honey and table sugar. Agave has the same calories as honey, but like most people seem to need is not so sweet. In this case, less calories are consumed.
I like this massive form of agave. I do a lot of baking with agave, so this is perfect in the gallon size. I think it’s great that it came at a price so good too. I like to see some darker options agave, but I was happy to have found this product. It was light and not too viscous which is ideal for sweetening tea. He has also worked well for cooking fruits for dessert Galletta and shoemakers.

I Madhava Organic Light Agave Nectar is a great product. The flavor is sweet, but soft and can be used as a

I purchased this product many times before, so I knew it was “PURE HEAVEN.” I did not have to worry about agave nectar from heaven unless I knew for certain that it was. I sent this to my granddaughter and her son, because they are not near any place to buy it.
