Many people can survive just fine without meat.  However, there are people who are unable to process the amino acids in such plant-products as efficiently as meat.  It doesn&#039;t take a lot, but SOME meat is essential to some people.

The Japanese eat a whole lot of pork. Fish is consumed more by those living on the coasts, but they eat more pork than anything else.</description>
