Veggies or fruit diet?

raw foods weight loss diet

For a raw mono-food diet, which works better for weight loss: veggies (lettece, cucumber, tomato, carrot juice, mushrooms, spinach, celery, peppers) or fruit (watermelon, lemons, plums, grapefruit, berries, papaya, apples, cucumber, tomato, melon)?

I plan on doing this for 2 weeks, not as a crash diet but more like a fast; so no lectures.

fruits have alot of natural sugars so more calories which turn to fat if not burnt.

Just make sure its a short time thing like you say, as you know your body needs many nutrients not in a veggie only diet. :)

    Hi. I would go with all veggies (throw in some protiens too). Most are negative cals so they will burn up quikly and you’ll drop quiet a few lbs. :]

    well….neither
    that’s a lot of straight up water. A water diet will give you a lot of weight, and gaining weight in water is a pretty bad thing, too, I hear.

    you need both. but more veggies, less fruit. hope u r going to eat some carbs and protein too. otherwise u will get wierd cravings!
