RUN 3-5 times a week (aim to get to 5k 5x a week).

Make reasonable goals that you can achieve, track your progress, and find ways to stay motivated, if the visible results aren’t already enough.
Become aware of the many ways your healthy weightloss is affecting your life. Do you physically feel better? Are you more confident. Do you have more energy?

Honestly… the mistake is that you want to "diet". In order to make weight loss effective and permanent is to make a "lifestyle of change" to healthier habits. It is really the only method that is most effective… If you are looking for a quick "band aid" solution then look into those fad diets. Realistically, when losing weight it shouldn’t be more than 3 lbs per week! because if you lose it too quickly you will gain it back twice as much in half of the time you lost it.
