Wondering what on earth does raw food diet mean? Let’s explain it in simple language.
All the foods contain a number of vitamins and other nutrients. The foods are also rich in enzymes that assist in the digestion process and provide nourishment to the body. But as we cook them on the heat of 116 degrees F and above, all these helpful substances of foods get destroyed.
So the proponents of the raw foods diet are in favor of the consumption of the foods in their unprocessed and uncooked forms. They hold that foods in their original form provide the utmost nutritional value and retain the “life force”.

But there are still the moderates, who adhere to raw foods but still do not completely give up the cooked foods. However, a raw food diet is the safest and easiest means for achieving a detoxified body that is clean from both inside and outside.
