One of the questions we get asked on our site is simply ‘What is the best way to lose weight?’ My response is that the true answer to this question is a very personal one and is not as straightforward as many would like to hear. Of course it would be nice to just be able to plug this question into some software and have it print out our answer in an instant.

In the past you worked for a business and every week you got paid on the mark and everything was okay – nothing special but you had no fears. The boss drove up in his shiny new car; while you drove about in your ten year old rusty box on wheels – evidently he was doing somewhat better than you! Unquestionably it’s time for a change; and the only human being preventing you is yourself! Set-up your own raw food cafe business at once! Running your own raw food cafe business is possibly something you have thought about for several years; although what has stopped you in the past? It’s obvious that being your own boss might be the most arduous thing you ever do, except imagine the rewards.

Having a sibling,spouse, parent or other significant person that is doing all right in business creates a vast motivation for others to take a crack at. Not out of a feeling of rivalry but because it is understandable to sense the love people get from operating their own business, and their own lives.

In reality there are at all times a mixture of features at play and no two distinct capitalist conform to the same type; in a substantial organization people become institutionalized although with your own business you get to do things your own way and prompt the employees you have (assuming you have any).

Not many people begin their own business – most people don’t have the nouse. The point is do you have it? Are you motivated to be a success in business as well as in life?

Nuts and seeds contain the genetic potential for starting a new life, and are endowed with sufficient nutrition to  sustain their offspring. This, in turn, makes nuts and seeds a powerhouse of nutrition for us, providing beneficial fats, vitamins, minerals, proteins, and carbohydrates.

Nuts have a higher fat content than seeds do, where as seeds tend to be higher in iron. Both contain beta- carotene, B- complex vitamins, vitamins D and E, and calcium, and are excellent sources of vegeterian protein; in fact, by volume, nuts and seeds provide more protein than meat or milk. They contain phytosterols, or plant hormones, that have a structure similar to that of humane hormones and support the endocrine system and all its functions, including reproductive health. Raw nuts and seeds also contain lipase, an enzyme that helps the body digest fats.

Nuts and seeds can help regulate blood sugar levels, and also help clean and strengthen teeth and gums. They relieve costipation, have a “grounding effect, calm nervousness, and strengthen weakness. Nuts and seeds are excellent for bodybuilders, for those who work with their muscles, and for increasing sexual desire in both men and women.

Here are some tips and rules of the Raw food diet to follow:

Nuts help control fat and cholesterol levels in the body.
Eaten in small amounts 1/4 cup or 1 oz
No more than 6 ounces a day total
Soak for 8-12 hours
H20 double the amount of water
Soaking Helps with digestibility
Nuts can be soaked in or out of the refrigerator
Use them for recipes, snacks, in trail mixes, and baking.

Changing your diet is a big event in your life and will have an impact on the relationship you have with your partner.”Is this really healthy” they will say or “where do you get your protein from?”

When you come together there are many things you may think should stay the same if the relationship is to last,though of course we know everybody changes.We would get bored if we did not.

Nonetheless food is part of all our lives and in a relationship eating is a time when can just be together.Either a meal at home or when we go out to a restaurant.

The whole shopping routine is a together moment also, as you wander up and down the rows of food,hopefully in harmony about what you will eat for the next week or so.

But you go raw and all these events become a potential source of conflict.You don’t even want to go to the supermarket anymore,because there is nothing there you want.From now on it is the health food store and the organic shop.

You will feel like the odd one who has to be careful about what you say and do around your partner, who of course is still eating “normal” food.

But if a relationship is to thrive there must be freedom of expression.If feelings are kept inside they will just fester and drain the energy from the body.You may start to lose enthusiasm for your new diet and drift back to the old ways just to keep your partner happy.

Don’t hold back on your enthusiasm about raw food.Your partner will see how you are changing for the better and should be happy for you.If they are not, well there is some deeper problem in the relationship.

Being able to change diet and face whatever reaction you get from your partner comes form self love.If you have that you will stand firm in your beliefs.Too many relationships are the co-dependent type where you need the approval of the other to stay happy.

Be in love with yourself and you can overcome any criticism from your partner.Then all the addictions you have will fall away.

Before those addictions were born out of a need to please someone outside of ourselves.We think that only when others love us can we love ourselves.Let go of that belief and the addictions will end.

It may be best to manage your diet changes in a calm and steady manner so that your partner does not feel overwhelmed.But in the end if they do not come along for the ride then there are plenty of people out there who have made the change and would love to connect with you.

Raw food enthusiasts believe it has numerous benefits for health, including increased energy, improved skin appearance, better digestion, weight loss and a reduced risk of heart disease. Organic food diets contain fewer trans fats and saturated fats than typical diets. Also, they are low in Sodium and high in Potassium, Magnesium, Folate, Fiber and health promoting plant chemicals called Phyto-chemicals. Due to these properties, the consumption of raw fooddiets is associated with a reduced incidence of diseases like heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Raw foods also lower plasma total cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations. Proponents of raw food diets advocate that at least 75% of the diet must be living or raw.

Raw food diet can cure Candida infections

At times, we may have problems with our body and we are unsure of exactly how to treat them.  This is the case whenever it comes to a yeast infection and the reason that there is so much confusion over how to treat it is because there are so many pharmaceutical cures that are available at the drugstore.

Raw Food Meals: 2-3 or 4-6?

Man, have I been busy!  I just started my final year at college a few weeks ago and I cannot believe the amount of work I have.

This semester is seriously the largest workload I have ever had during my time at school.  It’s been pretty hard to keep up with everything.

In order to help myself adjust to all the extra work and my wonky school schedule, I was forced to change my eating pattern.  For the first week of school, I ate 4-6 meals a day instead of the usual 2-3.

Essentially, I became a grazer for a week.  And by the end of this week, I could not wait to get my schedule straightened out and start eating normally again!

Why Grazing Sucks

Do you wanna know what I hate more than anything?

Constant Hunger.

I will do anything and everything to avoid constant hunger.  I cannot stand it.  It is just so hard to focus on the tasks that I need to do and be productive when all I can think about is food.
Well, this is what I got when I became a grazer for a week.  I was constantly hungry.  I honestly could not focus on anything because I kept thinking about my next meal!

I would literally finish a meal at 9am and be wandering back into the kitchen by 11!

Maybe you’re used to that kind of timing, but for me it is so annoying!  When I am working or doing whatever, I want to be focused on that specific task.  I do not want to be thinking about food every two hours.

That was my life when I ate cooked food and I definitely do not want to go back down that road!

I much prefer 2-3 meals a day.  When I eat this way, the gap between meal times is between four and five hours instead of the measly two.

This way, I can be totally into my food when I am eating and then totally engrossed in other tasks when I am not.

Hooray productivity!

Tiny Portions

Grazing all day means smaller portions.  Sure, you get to eat more often, but as I said above, that is not a plus for me.

One of the reasons I am so fond of the low fat raw vegan diet is because I get to eat massive amounts of food in one meal.  There is truly nothing more satisfying than eating two pounds of grapes in one sitting without an ounce of guilt.

It is nourishment AND an ego boost, all in one!

You don’t get that when everything is split up into small meals.  Sure, you are still eating the same amount of food overtime, but it just isn’t the same.

I need that ego boost!

Grapes…Again?

I finally get it.  I finally understand why so many people complain about the raw food diet being boring.  I completely get why people end up returning to cooked food for lack of “variety.”

When I was eating lots of small meals throughout the day, fruit seemed totally boring and even bland at times.

I can’t believe I’m actually saying writing this, but it’s true!  I honestly did not enjoy eating bananas for three meals in a row.  I wanted other fruit, particularly fruit that had gone out of season (like mangoes and peaches).

And even after eating all those bananas, I still had an appetite.  I just wanted something different.

Maybe even, dare I say, something stimulating?  Something…cooked?!

That is why I much prefer fewer, larger meals throughout the day.  This way, all of my bananas (or whatever the fruit is)  for the day are in one or two meals.  My food never seems boring and so I feel totally satisfied with what I’m eating.

Serenity Now!

So I’ve finally returned to my old eating ways and it feels great.  I am no longer constantly hunger, I feel totally accomplished after polishing off a meal, and I am completely satisfied after all of my fun mono-fruit meals.

Raw Food Cleanse Cure For Cancer

Nothing is more devastating than having cancer or having a family member who has cancer.  I do not have all the answers, but I do know that a raw food cleanse cure for cancer may exist that works.  There are many people in this world who have beat cancer and we must never forget that!

One thing I want you to keep in mind if you’re reading this article is, that everyone has a different physiological makeup and what may work for one person may not work for the other.  There are people who are in the early stages of cancer, who may have a fighting chance at possibly beating the cancer by using raw foods.  Those who are in the later stages of cancer, may not be so fortunate.

Trying to keep a positive attitude and surrounding yourself with positive people, will help increase your chances of surviving.  I know what it’s like to lose friends to cancer and I’m hoping that this information, will help someone who is suffering out there.  Before I continue on, I want to say it is vital to consult with your physician before using any type of natural therapies.  There are no guarantees in life, so I’m not making one, but I am hopeful that eating raw foods can make a difference in someone’s life out there reading this.

What do I know about healing?  That’s a valid question and I want to answer that with a throat infection issue I healed in just 2 days to prove a good point.  I’ve personally used habanero pepper and garlic to heal a nasty infection, I had in the back of my throat.  I’ll never forget the pain of having this white looking patch in the back of my throat and realizing I had to do something fast, so I started to use my tried and trusted herbs.

I took a coffee grinder and I mixed up one fresh habanero pepper with two garlic cloves.  Then I applied the paste to my throat and it burned into the infection and within two days it was gone.  Warning: Even though this process works, I do not advocate or encourage anyone else to try this, because it’s just too dangerous.  When I did it, I knew I had a super strong tolerance level to handle it, so please do not try this at home!  I wanted to share this true story to let you know just how powerful these two herbs are!

The reason why I like to use raw herbs and raw foods is, because they work much more effectively than the dried.   Habanero pepper Is super hot and needs to be handled carefully, but it can work wonders.  Both habanero pepper and garlic are massive cancer fighters.

When you combine the two together you have a immune boosting power punch to any disease.  Using all-natural cod liver oil from Nordic naturals is another good choice.  You can slice the habanero’s up and add them to a salad of sliced garlic cloves.  You can use lettuce, tomatoes, spinach and other vegetable for this salad.  Please use an all-natural dressing.

By eating raw foods and vegetables, you are laying a strong foundation for the herbs to work from.  If I was having to fight cancer, I would be using garlic, all-natural cod liver oil, and habanero peppers!  To me that is a much better choice than chemotherapy or surgery.  I know this is a controversial issue and some will not agree with using alternative therapies, while others will, but either way we should be informed and educated about natural therapies.  If you want to know more about my gardening tips and my herbal secrets click here!
